O projektu Beograjski poletni festival Belef 2001, Office Shoes, Terazije, Beograd, Srbija in rna gora, 20 - 23. 7. 2001
Multimedijski umetniki projekt je vkljueval intalacijo v javnem prostoru, interakcijo z obiskovalci in dokumentarni film.
Pred prihodom v Beograd sva avtorici obiskali tovarno Alpina v ireh, kjer sva opravili kratke intervjuje z delavkami in delavci, ki so izdelovali evlje v Alpininem strojnem parku. Galerija
Projekt na umetniki nain povezuje prebivalce dveh deel, ki so jima okoliine (vojna, ekonomski embargo) poruile sistem kulturne in blagovne izmenjave. Na primeru uporabnega izdelka evlja sva avtorici raziskali preplet produkcije, trenja, komunikacije in vsakdanjega ivljenja. V projektu sva proizvajalce evljev povezali s njihovimi potencialnimi konzumenti.

About project Belef Belgrade Summer Festival 2001, Office Shoes, Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro, 20 - 23. 7. 2001
The multimedia project included installation in public space, interaction with public, and documentary film.
The project took place for three days in center of Belgrade in "Office Shoes" footwear shop. The authors have gone first to "Alpina" shoe factory in Slovenia, where we interviewed workers manufacturing footwear. We printed the short tales about worker's life on shoe insole whose purpose is to make footwear softer and more comfortable. We brought to Belgrade the selection of the promotional collection of "Alpina's" shoes. In the footwear shop in Belgrade we communicated with Belgrade costumers. A buyer who would contribute her or his story would be given away an insole with printed worker's story on it. In return we sent postcards with "Belgrade" stories to "Alpina's" workers. Gallery
This project's goal was to turn Belgrade footwear shop for a while into a communication space between two countries that used to trade with one another. American Indians say that wearing other man's shoes means taking his worries on your shoulders. The life and worries of people manufacturing shoes found ther way to those tho wear them and vice versa after the project "A Story in Shoes".
