Active Passivity

During the last year of the ONHIATUS residency I developed an ideal model of intense passivity all year around: - The isolation of winter sleep - Spring fatigue and laziness - Summer break and rest - Autumn pampering and daydreaming. In 2016 and 2017, I doggedly pursued the goal of active passivity in accordance with the above-mentioned model. And yet, the weight of years pushed me to go further. Having stared into the gap between Man and the rapid advancements in science and technology, I was left speechless, and retired as an artist. As of 1st January 2018 I am a retired career contemporary artist holding the honorary title of Dilettante and the honorary office of the Officially Authorized and Initiated Trustee of the Pocket-sized State of Scarecrows. Parallel to this, the dematerialization process continues to run undisturbed consisting of discarding material needs until the very heart of the non-material is reached.
